The teachers train the students to create their “grounding cord” on their first chakra, which lies at the base of their spine. This can appear as literally anything to the person—a chain, a pole, a free-flowing waterfall and so on, as long as it connects the person to the “center of the Earth”. This is the justification of the aforementioned entry point (the first chakra) and the departure point (center of the Earth) wherein pain is to travel.

As soon as the student enters a meditative state, they can already proceed to “grounding” their felt pains, one part of the body at a time. Once created, they can psychically “switch on” their “grounding cord”. If a person feels pain on their back, they will direct that pain to the “grounding cord” slowly, allowing it to exit the body until the pain has subsided. Whether the pain transpires from the upper body, lower body or from the inside, “grounding” can address these problems and help the person feel better as a whole.

One thing that a person has to remember about the “grounding cord” is that it also gets worn out. Because of that, students will have to “remove” or “detach” it from their body and replace it with a new one. By visualizing a new mental image picture, they can either fabricate the same design or a fresh, unused one that can withstand more traveling energies. Teachers of Universal Core Healing  encourage the practice of “grounding” on a consistent basis to alleviate and potentially get rid of pain permanently, as well as replacing it from time to time.

The “grounding cord” is only one of the most useful tools that a psychic can create to protect and heal their body.
